MizzouNYC leaders honored by MAA and MizzouNYC chapter

Susan Combs, MizzouNYC's Athletics Chair, was awarded the G.O.L.D. Award by the MAA. The award is for graduates of the last ten years who have donated laudable time and talents on behalf of Mizzou, and only 2 are given per year — one for someone in Missouri, and one for someone out of state. The chapter created the Craig Politte Leadership award for his service to the chapter. This year, both Craig and Joanna Russell Bliss were recognized with this award for the outstanding leader of the year. Susan and Joanna were also recently nominated to join the Griffiths Leadership Societya group created by the Mizzou Alumni Association to establish an influential and dynamic network of women to provide leadership development and mentoring for Mizzou's female students from her female graduates.
